WE NEED YOU

I’ve been contacted by several families who would like to take part, so I wanted to break down how you can help:

1) Bring shoes to the event  

Please bring along a pair of shoes and take them back with you when you leave. Any shoes left behind will be donated.

2) If you can’t attend

There is an option to drop off shoes at local Family Hub (personally I can collect from Riverside and Elmwood hub on Friday at 12ish. ) . If possible, please attach a small tag or label.

3) Add a label or tag

Write a short message such as “forgotten,” “no school,” “failed,” or anything that reflects your personal experience or situation.

4) Donations

All shoes left after the event will be donated.

5) Attendance

We’d love for you to attend in person, and bring your young person (YP) along. You’ll see friendly, familiar faces — we understand many may feel anxious . I’ll be there, along with others, to offer support.

Please share the event far and wide on social media (public page) North Solihull Additional Needs Support Group Page and tell friends and family, so we can in all work together to highlight the failures and hope for positive change
